Through the efforts of Hamish Laing, Steven Scullion, Darbi Accessories and others, VMCC are now welcome back to Kaitoke Kart circuit for Miniature or Bucket road racing.

Kartsport Wellington have recently upgraded and reconfigured their very classy facility so that it is now in even better shape. They want to run national level kart meetings there but needed to upgrade their facility in order to do this. This has now been completed and part of the upgrade will see Darbi Accessories/VMCC Miniature Roadracing and Junior Motard meetings at the circuit this year.

The first of these meetings will be on June 5, the second on July 10. Further meetings will be announced.

Note that because there is a new and expensive surface on the track that all bikes will require stringent plastic skid blocking on protruding parts.

In the interests of greater harmony among our local motorsport clubs, VMCC and Kartsport Wellington have agreements in place for VMCC use of Kaitoke on certain weekends and Kartsport Wellington participation at Actrix VMCC championship meetings 3, 4 and 5 at Manfeild.
